Dr. Lowell H. Steen, Jr. is the head of 120/Life's Scientific Advisory Board. From the early days of the company, he played a crucial role, advising founder Ira on the development of functional beverages to support lower blood pressure.
A seasoned cardiologist based in Chicago, Dr. Steen earned his MD from Indiana University School of Medicine. His extensive training includes residencies and fellowships at Northwestern University and Loyola University Medical Center.
Throughout his career, Dr. Steen has held various academic positions at Loyola University Medical Center, currently serving as a Professor of Medicine. He's also taken on leadership roles, including directing Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories and heading the Division of Cardiology since 2020 at Loyola.
Dr. Steen is not just a physician but also an educator, having participated in numerous medical education programs nationwide. He's certified in multiple cardiology specialties and remains committed to the advancement of cardiovascular health.
